Previously known as the Volunteer Clinic, the Division of Evaluation of Novel Clinical Technologies and Preparations is dedicated to improving diagnosis accuracy, treatment quality and expanding knowledge of issues of severe influenza. The Division was conceived in 1968 by Prof. Dmitry Zlydnikov, a prominent researcher and physician, who contributed greatly to the development of domestic antiviral preparations, prevention and treatment schemes for influenza and ARI. The traditions of the former Volunteer Clinic are carried on by professional researchers and medical specialists.

Occupation:

  • Out– and inpatient treatment of influenza, ARI and their complications
  • Monitoring and care for persons with chronic vascular, nervous, pulmonary and renal pathologies developed after contracting viral respiratory infection
  • Professional consultations and full medical examinations using a multitude of laboratory and instrumental techniques
  • Physical Therapy

Collaboration with the Institute’s research laboratories and pharmacy allows for rapid diagnosis, efficient treatment and customized approach to patients. The Division is also the backbone site for Clinical Research conducted at the RII.
